Just a note: The conventional thinking is that you want your spare mags aligned bullet-forward. That allows positive indexing with the off-hand forefinger as the new mag is retrieved and inserted. Having your spare mags facing different directions is not a good idea.Ruark wrote:SIG P238. Buffalo Bore 100 gr. hardcast flat tips. Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
CompVest is going to beat me up for continuing to post about this, but since we have new members joining at a record pace I want to note that the stilleto knife shown in MODiFiEDZ's photos is also an illegal weapon under Texas law. In other words, just because you see it doesn't mean you should try it at home.
In fact, Forum Rule #4 states: "No posting of messages promoting illegal conduct." Stating that you carry illegal weapons comes very close to doing that, IMHO. So please think before you post.
Now back to your regularly scheduled Topic, and the next person who is going to post pictures of a nice, practical, and legal carry package...

sprmx199: Sweet! One of these days, a Wilson Supergrade and a Nighthawk Predator for me. One of these days...
Tireshred: That makes you the first person I know to own one of the new Agents!
On behalf of Longtooth, I'd like to say it's nice to see so many 1911s being posted.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
Being mostly a 1911 kinda guy, all I can say is: Nice!
Now, that's a present.
FYI, I'm not a personal fan of ambidextrous safeties on 1911s, though they seem all the rage now on upscale models. The true custom smiths understand the ambi safety should be an option, not a standard.
Oh: Nice pictures, too.

Ya got me. I guess it'd be Form 1 only if you made it yourself. But since owning a suppresor isn't something I ever envision, I'm not too concerned with my ignorance of that part of the law.htxred wrote:i thought it was a form 4, and signatures are only if you go the individual route, which is nearly impossible for harris county.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
Yep; you're right. ATF Form 1, Sheriff signature, and 200 bucks? Not a license...but it kinda sorta walks and quacks like one.KBCraig wrote:I think you meant to say "tax stamp". There is no federal license for a suppressor.

You have not gone to the Dark Side, Luke.
You have a custom 1911 trigger, which is way better than a light-saber.
I like my Glocks, but I love my 1911s...

Damon is the owner of http://www.gripus.com, and is a stand-up guy to deal with. They have stuff not yet shown on their Website, including new grips in Spalted Pecan. I'll have a pair with me at TXCHL Forum Day at PSC if you want to see 'em. They'll also do custom grips for just about anything--of the proper size--they can scan and digitize. You don't have to order exactly what you see on the Website. Call and ask for Damon and he'll do whatever he can to get you what you want.
P.S. I have no affiliation with them. I just like their work and customer service.
