Whenever I see a box labeled "Sex" on any form, I try to fill in "I LIKE". *shrug*
The info on the 4473 needs to match exactly to the ID you provide the FFL. Some states are now issuing licenses with the "non binary" designation, so, if the 4473 only had male/female, those with non-binary designation on their state issued ID's would be unable to complete an FFL transaction legally.

This particular issue was caused by the states and ATF did what they need to do to remedy it. I may be not yet completely woke regarding non-binary things, but I don't want to do anything to discourage any law abiding person from owning the means for self-protection, so, kudos to ATF on this one.
An EO could remedy that. Not like there's nothing else going on, but it could be a blanket for all agencies and all forms.
