A few years ago I cut my thumb deep. It was a very clean cut. Drove myself to the Christus ER by the HEB. I had Humana insurance at the time, and it did not work too well. They super glued it - no blood. The doctor did not reopen the cut. Just super glue. $1200. I don't remember if I paid in full.
