Need info on the shooting portion after taking online course.
Maybe I am just dumb but I am not an online instructor. I have just started having people that want to do that portion. I can't remember the rules of just doing the shooting portion. I have tried to find this info on the DPS website. Can someone direct me to where I can find this info. Thank you.

They told me to go to their website and request one. I did and have not heard back. I ended up finding our lost certificates.

Getting a replacement Instructor certificate.
I have somehow lost both my instructor certificate and my husbands. I called DPS and asked what I needed to do to get a new one. I was told to go request one through the "contact us" on DPS's webpage. Have any of you had to do this and about how long did it take? I have gone through my who...

New Online teaching.
Are any of y'all going to try to do the online teaching? I would like too but don't know how or what qualifies as online teaching? A Youtube video from 3 yrs ago? It is hard since we have never been able to teach online LTC/CHL before.

Re: Instructors Class tomorrow question
Which class is this? Is it the LTC Instructor course in Austin? I've been on a waiting list for that course since March... This is the renewal class for existing instructors. it is aprox. 4 hrs in length. The class you are waiting for is a 3 or 4 day class, I am not exactly sure how long it is now,...

Instructors Class tomorrow question
Me and the Hubby are taking the instructor course tomorrow morning. If you have taken the class is the classroom overly cool or hot? Trying to figure out if I need to bring a sweatshirt or wear shorts. TIA

Re: Revolver questions
I have a Ruger GP 100 and a Chiappa Rhino. Love my Chiappa bought it when they first came out. It has been through a car accident (I was t-boned at 70 miles an hour) the chiappa was in the door that got hit. It is also my purse carry. Love the way it shoots.

Re: Looks like DPS Says I'm Good--How Long To Notification?
sure if that was because I emailed them, or it just took that long. About 2 days after the website updated, I received the email to request a class date. After requesting a specific class date, I received verification of my class assignment in just under 1 week (7/13 to 7/18). We have not been sent...

Re: Looks like DPS Says I'm Good--How Long To Notification?

Ours just go to the Choose Service LICENSE APPLICATION STATUS: If you have a pending License to Carry a Handgun application, please allow sufficient time for processing. If you have not alrea...

Likely the browser you were using was remembering your saved data. Clearing your cache might have helped too. Glad you got it figured out.

Re: Proficiency before or after classroom instruction?
I guess that is the advantage of having my own range. I get to choose when we shoot!
