We made it out to the Dallas Zoo yesterday and it was NOT posted 30.06. There were no metal detectors, anyone searching bags or anything of the sort. I carried all day (rode the DART) and there were zero issues.

I was the one that originally bumped this 4 year old thread and this is the position I have decided to take. Concealed is concealed... if I am somehow found out and someone wants to raise a fuss, then I guess I'll be the test case. I'm not worried about it at all.

I appologize for bumping a 4 year old thread but has anyone been to the Dallas Zoo recently and is there a valid 30.06 sign? I plan on going this Friday and would like to ride the DART but I need to know beforehand if I can carry into the zoo.

The DCAD website lists the owner as "Dallas Zoological Society" so I'm thinking it is NOT government/city owned. Can anyone clear this up for me?
