I got roped into taking my son to the mall last week to buy some shoes and shorts for school. NOT at Dick's. I've made it clear that we won't be a part of ANY commercial transactions at that particular establishment, and my kids agree. My wife, alas, has strayed a couple of times to buy stinkin gym shorts... ANYWAY. As we drove up to the dreaded mall, I asked him where the store with his prized items were, and he said "just park by Dick's, we can walk through there; it's right outside". I laughed, and said "you realize that stepping foot into that store for me is like a vampire stepping into sunlight, right?. As much as I HATE the mall, We'll park at the other side and walk". He laughed so hard he about did a spit take with the swig of water he'd just taken, gave me a fist bump, and we walked.......
