Those "heat maps" are pretty alarming. Looks like it's time to contact our representative to start work on a provision like that they TRIED to pass (well, it passed, but with an inane amendment that basically killed its intent) in TN that will make those prohibiting our ability to protect ourselves liable for any injury and damages suffered as a result.....

Thanks to everyone for posting their views - keep 'em coming! While I do see about 1/3 of the "new" sites going online as 30.07, the rest seem to be either both 30.07/30.06 or just NEW 30.06. I've got nothing against the folks posting 30.07 and will happily patronize them, but, unfortunately, MOST seem to be posting both. I still can't understand why anyone would want to make themselves a target by open carrying (pretty much an ego thing IMO), so this whole thing is just a MESS from my perspective. As was said previously; THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!

I subscribe to Texas3006.com notifications, and it sure seems to me that A LOT more places are being posted since Open Carry was instituted. INCLUDING many places ADDING 30.06 that were NOT posted before. While some businesses are only posting 30.07 (god bless 'em, I get it and will continue to go there) it seems like MOST are posting both 30.06 AND 30.07. Not sure if they don't understand the difference (possible given the "education" distributed by some LEO's), but in any case, I find it a TERRIBLE trend

Anyone else notice this, or am I just being too "sensitive"?????
