I have both the G19 and G26.

I haven't noticed any recoil issues with the 26 and neither has my wife.

On the carry side, I do find it a little easier to conceal, but keep in mind it's still a double stack so it does stick out more when compared to single stack weapon.

Accuracy for me was improved considerably by using the mag with the extension that allows me to get all fingers in the game.

When carrying in a car, the shorter barrel is a little more comfortable for me (I carry it OWB at 4:00, same as the G19).
