Re: Helo hunt for feral hogs.
A few years ago (03-11) I lived in San Antonio and owned and flew a powered parachute. Greatest flying experience I've ever had! Lot's a very cool Youtube videos showing take-off, landing and the whole experience if you're interested in see more. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powered_parachute At the...

Hey, enough people sign on and this could snowball into a class action suit. I know some of my friends feel the same way.

Re: How to disarm correctly
What I would recommend and what I believe most here do is to disarm in the vehicle and put it in a locked console or lockable gun box cabled to the seat or something else immovable. :iagree: For this exact reason, I have a nanovault that is kept under the passenger seat of my car with the cable wra...

Re: Motorcycle New Law 1/1/2015
Sec. 547.617. MOTORCYCLE FOOTRESTS AND HANDHOLDS REQUIRED. A motorcycle that is designed to carry more than one person must be equipped with footrests and handholds for use by the passenger. What can I use for a "Handhold for use by the passenger"? I thought that what the driver was for? ...

Re: Critique my current firearm storage situation
Do people really leave loaded handguns laying around the house unattended? Seems terribly unsafe to me. If it isn't on your person/under your immediate control, I really think you ought to unload the thing. You just never know who might end up running across it and possibly creating a 100% preventa...

Re: Williamson County Annex in Cedar Park
Can't speak to the Williamson County building but the McLennan County Annex that houses the tax office is also posted 30.06 at the front doors to the Bldg. However, it sounds like a similar layout with a courtroom on the second floor. I think in both cases, the city has taken a liberal interpretatio...

Re: 9mm vs 380
Go to Youtube and look up "Ammo Quest 9mm". There's a series of 8-12 videos with a demo of different kinds of ammo through short barrel 9mm's. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4I9G9Fkv_w After you've seen the intro a couple of times you can FFW to the important stuff. Pr...

Re: Man injured by ND outside Bass Pro Shops
You'd "think" this wouldn't be an issue. I seriously hope I'm never wrong, but I think I'd wear a little of the slide metal off by checking and re-checking that the weapon was unloaded before it ever left my home. But then again, I swore I turned the back porch light off before bed last ni...

Re: Good CCW Shirts?
I went to Amazon and searched for "Camp Shirts". It's the style with square bottoms (including Hawaiin) and they generally have a breast pocket. I chose the Harriton brand and I'm extremely pleased with them. (Well made, good fit, and soft material)
