Good point. I have been wondering why the zombie blood does not infect them when it splashes on open wounds. In the episode before this one there was a scene that made me wonder if they were going to go there next. When they went to drop off the kid at that utility/city center they, (Shane and Rick), killed a zombie cop and then mentioned to each other that there was no bite marks. Then they looked at each other for a second and you could almost hear the "doodoo-doodoo" music playing.
I was thinking the same thing.


Btw, imo, the ideal firearm in this situation is a good 22 rifle. Headshots are the rule anyways and what else would allow you stock up and carry as much ammo. Also, the sound won't carry quite as far or it can be easily suppressed to quiter than a pellet gun.
