As we all know, loading and unloading a gun is not rocket science and if you don't want it to fire, don't pull the trigger. I will never understand why some people feel the need to pull the trigger. A former coworker of mine did this with his 270. He "unloaded" the rifle and then, while sitting inside his truck, pulled the trigger to make sure it was empty and blew a hole in his torque converter. What ever happened to opening the action and looking for a round?
