Re: ammo on sale
Wal mart has Reminton UMC brass 9mm for $7.97/50. They also asked for an ID and entered my DL number in the sale transaction. I asked if this was a store requirement or government requirement and she said government Walmart in what country? :biggrinjester: It may have been to verify age? Probably, ...

Carry at work requires discretion and is typically a 380 in the pocket. Off work is a full size M&P in 357 Sig.

Re: SB 17 Retention Holster Amendment Possible?
What I hated about the committee meeting is when the liberal cops talked about having level 3 retention and such as if everyone who open carries needs it either, or else they will be killed. Later on in the meeting, someone had the sense to point out that open carriers are not wrestling people and ...

Re: Cornyn Introduces Constitutional Concealed Carry Recipro
If a Texan takes a firearm made in Texas to another state, then that firearm has been shipped or transported in interstate commerce. I think you just jumped to a conclusion that is way too broad. Suppose I live in Dallas and I go to Oklahoma City to visit my brother. Since my truck has an extra lar...

Re: BATFE To Ban Common AR-15 Ammo
If I am reading this right, it also bans most common 7.62x39 ammo too. Whoa! Where did you get that? I don't see it. Is there a handgun that fires 7.62x39? I think that is one of the requirements for their messed up reasoning. Of course there is, the Draco. http://www.slickguns.com/sites/default/fi...

This is not about violating State's rights at all. It is about preventing states from violating our rights. 10th "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." 2nd "A w...

Sadly, that isn't the least bit surprising. These fools lie so often, they probably don't even remember what the truth is. Hopefully incidents like this will help more people realize what these groups truly are.

Re: I'm almost hoping Open Carry fails… here's why
I am sure we will see a few new 30.06 signs but not many. For one, I doubt very many people will actually carry openly. For another, concealed carry and 30.06 have been around about 20 years now. Thanks to OCTC, it has also been all over the news already. I think most businesses owners have seen tha...

Haha, very true. I have let a few people shoot my 454 and even that is typically entertaining.Abraham wrote:It'd be fun to watch OTHERS shoot the .50 BMG in a handgun.

Several do exist as well as at least one revolver in 600 Nitro Express.joe817 wrote:What's next? A BMG .50 cal pistol?
As for the 444 pistol, that looks like fun. I would shoot it.

Re: Armed woman protects her home
This is a question that only you can really answer. We don't know how responsible your 15 year old is. If you are confident in how you raised your child and they have proven themselves to be responsible and trustworthy, I see nothing wrong with providing them the means to protect themselves. If they...
