Carrying at Allen Event Center for Dallas Sidekicks
Hey guys, i searched around a little bit and couldn't find a definite answer. The wife got tickets to the Dallas Sidekicks game tonight, which will be played at the Allen Event Center. I've been there numerous times, but only for gun shows. I have never seen a permanent 30.06 at the AEC. I went to t...

Re: One child reportedly dead after gunman opened fire
total count for now is at 27, in which 18 were 5-10 year olds. Absolutely terrible. Those are the ages of my children. It will not stop until potential victims are allowed to be armed citizens.

Re: Where did you carry today....
I carried everywhere i went today, just like i always do. However, last night, the missus and i went to a Japanese hibachi grill. We thought we may have a little bit of sake with our meal, so i left the Glock in the trunk. After we went in, i decided it wasn't worth being in a crowded room unarmed. ...

Arizona Car Chase Ends with Suicide on Live TV
I work in an operations center and have lots of live news streaming. About 5 minutes ago, there was a live car chase in Arizona. At one point, the chase was on foot and the BG pulled out a pistol and shot himself on live TV. I know this is from the Huffington Post, but they're the only people that h...

Re: Elderly woman shot by police after calling 911
How do you recognize a LEO with that flashlight shining in your eyes? By them saying "POLICE! Put the weapon down!" Who cares if she didn't have her glasses or hearing aids. If she refused to drop the weapon, that means somebody told her to do so. Certainly they prefaced their command wit...

Hopefully others will chime in, but from what i understand, the only Class C misdemeanor that would prevent you from getting a CHL within a certain time period is domestic violence.

Re: Barely missed a Convenience Store Robbery
Now, i wouldn't go John Wayne on the guy, but i would definitely do more than just stand there while the clerk's life was being threatened. No, we aren't law enforcement, but i would want a fellow CHL holder to have my back in that situation. I would at least draw my weapon and order him to the grou...

Re: Carrying in Colorado...Close Call
beefmobile, I understand Colorado's generally a very liberal state. If that's so, I would guess there's a lot of anti-gun bias in the metropolitan areas, but I would also expect a lot of pro gun bias in the rural areas of Colorado. Did you encounter a lot more gun buster type signs in Colorado as c...

looks like a pair of good 'ole standard issue USMC cammie trousers :D good kills. I got a biggen last time i went out. It was about 15 feet behind my deer stand and startled the living crap out of my girlfriend when she went back to the Jeep. She got within a few feet by the time she noticed it. Whe...

Re: CHL in Home-Based Child Care
the post wasn't to ask if carrying was legal. The post was to propose if USING a weapon in someone else's home, because it is the day care, would put me at a legal disadvantage.

Re: Carrying in Colorado...Close Call
Yes, i know. Trust me, worst case scenarios ran through my head over and over. I had my CHL out to hopeful keep the security guard from at least freaking out. The cops were already out there because of stupid kids climbing all over the rocks ($1,000 fine posted signs for doing so), so they were prob...
