Re: .380 question
Strongly concur with the Sig P238 fans-- I love this gun! I also have tried various single stack 9mm's and currently own the Beretta Nano. I like the Nano better than any of the others (Solo, LC9, Kahrs) but even it doesn't carry as well or shoot as well as the P238 in my hands. I'm definitely eager...

Re: Fort Worth Gun Show: Questions
I think it's worth going to gun shows periodically just to see what's out there. I also do usually pick up bulk ammo that I've found cheaper, especially .380. Also usually find more variety of ammo and have bought good hand-loaded JHP's cheaper from guys I trust. I've sold used guns there although s...

Re: HOLSTER FOR SIG P238 ???
I recently ordered IWB and pocket holsters from PJ Holster (pjholster.com) after reading great reviews about their service. The holsters are thin Kydex and I am very happy with them-- THIN Kydex. Paul was very prompt and helpful and suggested a J-hook type for the P238 that is very comfortable (went...

Re: Introduce yourself
Recently joined forum-- North Texas MD, new to guns a few years ago except for plinking a little with my Air Force brother as a teen. Got my CHL at the advice of an LEO after I had death threat from unstable person; found out I love shooting! 1st gun a Springfield XD40 which I love, have since tried...

Re: SHOT Show News: New Sig P938 (9mm P238)
Oh, man! I just bought a Beretta Nano because I wanted more "pop" than my P238-- I like the Nano but I still LOVE my P238 and none of the "pocket" 9mm's come close to its feel and ease of shooting. I personally love the P238 trigger and prefer the thumb safety with a light trigge...

Re: Beretta Nano 9mm Range Report (first 440 rounds)
Just took the new Nano to the range-- shot it straight out of the box, no cleaning or breaking down before firing. I was very impressed with how it shot, nice groups with very manageable recoil (less than I expected). The trigger pull is longer than I expected although very smooth and much better th...

Re: 19 yo traveling with gun in car
It's always a hard decision to make regarding what you CAN do and what you SHOULD do. I'm a 47 yo professional and have lived long enough to not worry about being arrogant and argumentative; I have enough resources and confidence to "make a point" if I feel it needs to be made if I get in ...

Re: Beretta Nano 9mm Range Report (first 440 rounds)
Great post; always nice to get a fresh range report "out of the box". I just picked up a Nano to replace/coexist with my Sig P238-- love the P238 but looking for a pocket 9mm. Will hopefully do some shooting this week (if I can stop watching football long enough) and report back.

Re: A word about small CC guns
Wife found some unexpected cash in an old bank account-- told me to "Just go buy that Nano-thingy gun for Xmas from me and STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!" (I guess I'll keep her around for another 23 years). I couldn't find it at the local gun show (small show) but was able to get the display mode...

Re: A word about small CC guns
Appreciate the GREAT input/advice from the more experienced (note I never said "older") shooters. I also understand the better stability and accuracy of larger guns but have to have a pocket gun for my size/dress/line of work, which is why I wholeheartedly agree with the P238 advocates-- i...
