Can you post a picture of the problem and the problem ammo please? 1911s can take a bit of break in, especially those that are tight. Lube is your friend. I am from the "nearly impossible to use too much oil" camp. You can easily lube a 1911 without stripping it.Running Arrow Bill wrote:Got the Ruger SR 1911. :)
Small problem... It WON'T chamber a round even though it cocks ok. Ammo is correct. Same issue with both Ruger magazines that came with it.
It's depressing... :(
Any ideas on what the problem is or MY problem???
