Re: Any suggestions for a small-framed woman's first rifle?

The rifle my wife picked for herself is this Winchester 94 .357 Magnum Trapper.
She likes the look and feel of this little lever action and that's what counts.

Re: Not your daddy's M1A

I am glad to see that you guys are looking at this logically because so many get caught up
in the hype and end up with something that's not what they really expected or wanted.

Re: Not your daddy's M1A

For ya'll that have used a bullpup rifle, did any of you have trouble getting used to it? I tried a few different models last month and while they look cool and are definitely effective, I wasn't comfortable with them. I still like them, but am worried that if I get one and take enough time to get ...

Re: Not your daddy's M1A

I received my Rogue chassis July 2011. It was the very 1st production stock (#1) and it was pretty cool, but not practical enough to make me give up any of my MK14 EBRs so I sold it. The Rogue conversion kit is an interesting option for a few owners of the M14/M1A rifle. The kit attempts to transfor...

Re: SA Socom 16

H20 MAN, where do you source your Polytech and Norinco recievers from? Acting on a tip from the worlds foremost M14/M1A historian I started buying complete ChiCom M14s back in '04, this was after dealing with failed reproduction parts and terrible QC on my '01 Springfield Armory, Inc. Scout Squad. ...

Re: SA Socom 16

I saw your collection of blasters in the "black guns" thread, and I have to say that you're one of the first members of this board of whom I am intensely jealous! I LOVE me some M1A! Yes I do. I have some questions about your Polytech receiver..... Did you have it magnafluxed or anything ...

Thanks, she weighs 17 pounds as pictured with an empty 20 round magazine.

The 22.0" barrel has a medium heavy profile.

Re: AK47

Mine is a 7.62x39 Norinco AKM that I have enhanced and modernized.
It's accurate, reliable and it cycles sub sonic ammunition.
