They want an unarmed and uninformed populous that follow along believing the drivel they're spouting is the 'God's honest truth' and you should never question authority. While I agree that sheep are stupid (that's the way we are seen)...not all of us are sheep and they see any attempt to arm ourselves with knowledge or defend ourselves with a gun, a book or facts as a 'tyrannical uprising' and 'mob mentality' (in their eyes) and should be subdued at all costs.
It makes me embarrassed a lot lately when certain leadership is in the limelight...but I will always be proud to be an American
and stand in defense of their right to be stupid.
