I used to load 158gr. .38 caliber hollowbase wadcutters upside down for self defense loads back in the 70s-80s. They have a deep cavity that acts like a super hollowpoint...great expansion at lower snub .38 velocities and less penetration to worry about thru sheetrock, etc...and they shot accurately at short ranges
