Re: At what age do you take your children to the range?

Mine started shooting long guns at about 4. My 12 year old daughter can shoot a 7 mag, and my 8 year old son shoots a 223 or 243. Both can also shoot my 9mm Sig P250C without help, but with supervision of course.

I carry an LC9 and have liked it so far. It's very simple to conceal, and below $400.

Re: Chuck-E-Cheese

I agree about the issue of crawling through the tunnels. That happened frequently when my daughter was little. Fortunately, my kids are 12 and 8, so I'm no longer the designated gopher.

I went with the concealed is concealed choice, as did my goddaughter's father. No one's going to see my ccw unless I need to use it anyways.

Re: Chuck-E-Cheese

Went to Chuck E Cheese today (Webster - Baybrook) for my goddaughter's birthday and got a picture of a portion of the sign. The letters are nowhere near 1" at that location.

I'm with the "more ammo" group. I tend to shoot it as fast as I buy it.

Re: What did Santa bring

A Taurus PT22 with a pink grip. And a few days before Christmas, Mr. H received a bonus at work and let me buy a Taurus 740 slim at the gun show for myself. So, I'll consider that a Christmas present too.

Re: Introducing my wife to shooting

My husband and I took our kids out to some family land this weekend and let both of them shoot my Sig P250C 9mm. They are 8 (boy) and 12 (girl), and neither has a problem controlling the gun. My only suggestion would be to start her with a gun that has a thick enough grip that she will have a good h...
