Re: Spring Guns and Ammo

Yeah, sorry I did not get a chance to post it earlier.

Also, I have taken 3 or 4 of Aaron Rodger's Thursday night Tactical Classes. They are great! Small class size and lots of individual attention and instruction. I can see a definite improvement in both my skill and confidence. :thumbs2: There are all levels of shooters in the class from the relative newbie to tactical shooting (me) to some very seasoned regulars from Aaron's classes. The prices and times listed on SG&A's web site and on Aaron's web site are all wrong. The last class I attended (last month) started at 6:30 p.m. and cost $35 to Aaron + range fee to SG&A.

Re: Spring Guns and Ammo

For those who might want to try out SG&A (and for anyone else), they are running a special Chronicle Daily Deal on range fees. You can purchase 5 1-hour range passes for $35. Their usual fee is $16.00, so you save $45. Here is a link to the deal: http://dailydeal.chron.com/r/4e386f6ebcdb5a8011f0f3b7. Deal expires at MIDNIGHT on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2011. Check other deal details on at the Chronicle web site (i.e. Monday - Friday only, must purchase ammo from SG&A, expires March 2012). CAVEAT EMPTOR! (Buyer Beware for those who don't speak latin! )

I first went to SG&A when they ran a similar Chronicle Daily deal for a $65 CHL class. Nice guys, knowledgeable and very helpful. They have become my range of choice and like many, I'm between them, Shiloh and Hot Wells.

Also, they are running some specials on 500 round and 1,000 round cases of ammo from PMC and BVAC. Check the SG&A website for current pricing. I'm was tempted not to tell everyone because I haven't bought mine yet! :evil2:

P.S. - I am not affiliated in any way with SG&A other than being a customer and frequent shooter there.
