I am a new CHL instructor and have a question for you. I have a guy asking about using his military shooting records to take the place of doing the shooting qualification portion of the class. He said he saw it on the DPS website that you could do that, but I am having a hard time finding it. Also, if this is the case, do his military records need to specify that he shot with a semi-auto pistol or a revolver? If all that checks out and he can forego the shooting qualification, do I leave that portion of the CHL-100 blank and he sends those records in with the CHL-100?
