Your right about placement. A 9mm round will stop a person just as much as a 45 round will if its his the right spot, like the brain or spine for example. 9mm will go right through a windshield and still be effective. Again, placement is what counts.TEXASG7 wrote:

All of the other rounds were out of desperation. No way a 9mm would have been that effective Going through a windshield. I carry a 45 acp as my edc and would carry more rounds of it if needed before going to a smaller round. I also carry a AR 15 in the trunk. Glad the officer came out alive but the 45 did indeed do it's job. Ammo did not save him, shot placement is key all day everyday.
