Re: primers pulling back
I'm with Richard here. I would suggest adjusting your pin out to see if that fixes your problem.

Re: New .308 semi auto
I bought a G3 parts kit when they were cheap in the late '90s and built it up (minus pressing the trunion into the receiver and welding) from an exploded parts diagram that came with the part kit. It was my first rifle, and is still one of my favorites. Once you get past the recoil, they are capable...

Re: Starting Police Academy
One of the few things worse than "hospital watch" is riding a desk for an injury. I sprained my ankle last week in training, so I am stuck in the office until the doctor says I can go back to the field.
Stay safe out there.

Re: How To Address a Game Warden?
I'm just kind and respectful, but I'm not a very formal guy. On the otherside of the coin, I've never been addressed as Taxpayer Rich by any government employee before. It would be nice to be shown a little respect for all of my hard work too. You being a taxpayer doesn't distinguish you from them....

Re: Zero Turn Mowers - Have or Use One?
I have been especially grateful for my Kubota this year. All the rain this year has brought a bumper crop of weeds. I have actually started to mow wearing a respirator mask to keep from having an allergic reaction afterwards. I'm sure that my neighbors think that I am strange, but it's been well wor...

Re: Obama announces restrictions on distribution of military
I put this in the category with any other gun grab. It's not about the guns, it's all about the power. This does nothing to limit what goes to federal law enforcement, while curtailing what city and county law enforcement can get. So, the president gets to appease the people who say that police are ...

Interesting. My prediction is that we are going to see a lot more stories like this alleging abuse of power and racism. Not to say that problems don't exist, but the left needs to manufacture a crisis to achieve their goal of creating a federal police force.
Re: Easter
It was a very memorable Resurrection Sunday for my family. I had the pleasure of baptizing my 6 year old daughter at my church.

Funny, I am currently reading a collection of horror stories written in the early 1900's. I get a kick out of the language, and it takes a bit of getting used to.

Glenn Beck had an interesting show yesterday (Monday the 9th) about the first Muslim tribunal (court) established in Dallas. Their purpose is to hear cases under Sharia law for Muslims here. Fundamental change is here.
