I have asked if it would speed it up, since others are going through. They said no...it would create confusion. Told them I didn't mind paying another $10 just to be done with this. I think I might do it anyway, what could it hurt if it goes through now?
Not sure how it would create confusion. I would think they would just use the latest set of prints they received. No different than if a set were rejected and then new ones were resubmitted. With the wait all of you have been going through I would think it would be worthwhile for one of you to try it and report back to the others here if it gets you past the hurdle.

On a side note: I have been told that they are using interns to help with the backlog. Mostly unpaid college students, so they may be just telling you anything to get off the phone. I am not making excuses for them. If this was happening to me I would be just as upset.

Re: Problems with DPS receiving fingerprints

Woman I met at the gun range today is still playing the waiting game and said her L1 fingerprints were rejected by DPS. With the system they used on me, it gave them a score before the print was even accepted. If it was less than 95% the woman doing my prints would get some water, wet my finger, dry the machine and do the finger again. Most of the ones she did on me were in the 98% range. Is this not what others are experiencing?

By the way, this woman shot a cannon! It was loud and left BIG holes in the target.
