The "school" put me through a background check that was a lot stricter than the one I had to go through to get my CHL. The adult inmates worked as grounds keepers at the school none of them would be able to pass a background check that would allow them access to the dog pound. Staff grounds keepers had to pass the same background check I had to pass. The inmates worked right along side of the staff grounds keepers. The inmates were called guest workers in order to get around the State mandated background checks Note: I was in charge of the heating plant. So much for enforcment of background checks
Education and PHDs and whatever I've known some PHDs that are Savants ( people that are brilliant smart in small areas and retarded in others) You can find Savants inhabiting the State School for the retarded functioning as clients. You can also find Savants at the University of Texas functioning as professors . I have worked in both of the places mentioned. Many highley educated people in their wisdon want to protect us with laws that do more harm than good. I guess that the diference stems from the fact that professors have influence and are expected to be smart where as State School clients are expected to be below average in the intelligence department.
But who is really smarter the politician that throw gun laws at all of us and protect my former passengers or the client that throws trash at the staff. Both of the afore mentioned humans throw trash. The client won't throw trash that is a danger to all of society just harmful to staff and other clients. The gun hating brain washed professor throws trash that is harmful to all of society. A lot of politicians are afflicted with similar symptoms.
A lot of politicians are afflicted with similar symptoms when it comes to being Savants. I guess they must have some kind of paternalistic feelings for the gentlemen that used to ride with me.
Who ever came up with the idea of bypassing background checks at the school was probably afflicted with the Savant issues.
I hope this makes some sort of sense it is the best way I can think of to classify some people
