It must be Karma or sumptin'!
My grandson started throwing up this afternoon, and now, at almost 10:00 pm, I'm sitting in the Cooks Children's Urgent Care in Southlake.
There's no gun buster or 30.06 signage anywhere that I can see.
And, though their Guest WiFi blocks TexasCHL Forum, my Ipad works well with Hola!, so using a VPN tunnel through Canada, I'm able to access the forum without trouble.
And while I normally use Hola! To listen to American Forces Network Europe ( that's one of the things I did while I was in the Air Force) and watch BBC-TV programming, it's nice to be able to get around some of our domestic censorship shenanigans.

Re: Carried at Cook Childrens all morning
It's actually 7th Avenue (7th street runs E-W through downtown out to University and past). That's the main Cook Children's campus, though they have about 20 clinics and other facilities throughout Tarrant County. They're good folks, the 30.06 notwithstanding.RoyGBiv wrote:Definitely posted today. Had to go back to the car.
Will post photo tomorrow.
This is the location on 7th Street in FTW.

Re: Carried at Cook Childrens all morning
Don't worry abut that - one of my students showed me no less than eight ways to bypass the school's blocking software to get onto Facebook, and none of them took more than 10 seconds to accomplish. The sneaky little guys are probably more accomplished at busting through virtual locks than we are!RPB wrote:I PMmed you on about 3 ways to connect, even though blocked. ... I won't post that info publicly for kids at school to learn how to bypass school firewalls to spend all day on Facebook

It's actually "Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital", and yes, they are two very separate (and sometimes very contentious) companies.olafpfj wrote:... Texas Methodist is located right next toCook Children's and is listed on Texas3006 but they are 2 separate buildings and I think 2 separate hospitals even though they are next door.
