Nice write up PND. I didn't get to see who ran into the pole at the range, but hope they are ok. Wish I had gotten the chance to meet you (I guess I may have). I hope I wasn't one of the annoying ones. I do have a tendency to laugh a lot... Anyhow, it was a good class and the instructors were great. Wish I could have spent a lot more time on the range. Really nice facility.

The ones taking the 28 hour class are not renewals. They are first timers that are LEO or have another reason for an abbreviated course. Renewals are now an online test until they finalize the new procedure.
