Re: The Real Wendy Davis
I saw Patterson speak at a pro-gun rally in Austin last January. There are no greater supporters of the RKBA in Texas government than Abbott/Patterson.

Re: Star-Telegram: Zimmerman verdict sparks intererst in CHL
Apparently, [Pre-paid legal service] and the USCCA insurance plans are doing a lot more business, thanks to the Zimmerman/Martin shooting. http://www.star-telegram.com/2013/08/11/5072315/zimmerman-verdict-sparks-interest.html It's good to see a report of someone actually using their [Pre-paid legal...

Re: Letter to Governor Rick Perry
How I look at it, he may have signed all the gun bills in front of him, that is easy he just signs what they hand him. Now for him to not do something when he has the power that is failure on his part and the only way I have to punish him is by voting against him, See so simple. Yes this may make s...

Re: Where on your body do you carry?
I thought printing was illegal. Someone aware me please. "Printing" means a noticeable bulge where a firearm "might be" carried. "Printing" is only illegal if it is to a degree that any reasonable person can tell that the bulge is in fact a gun. If the bulge is non dis...

Re: 5.56 A Superior Round?
keep in mind that basically every rifle has a wylde (hybrid) chamber nowadays. Not sure why you would say that. Most ARs are 5.56 chambered which will fire both rounds. Some rifles are chambered for .223 wylde but they should say .223 wylde on the barrel. If it just says .223 then it is dangerous t...

Re: Where do you store Powder?
I keep my powder in the garage on a rack in the 1LB containers they came in. I've never had any problems. I would think that humidity would be a bigger issue than heat as far as the powder deteriorating.

Re: Special Session -- 2013
Perry has always seems greasy to me. Time for him to step up and walk the talk. It's too bad Jerry Patterson isn't running for governor (although some say that the Lt Gov has more power in TX anyway).
