Unless the airport posts 30.06 concealed carry is not restricted outside of security. Carry inside and avoid the possibility of theft of the gun from the vehicle.
All airports wish you would not carry in the terminals unless traveling and then you have to follow the rules for that. Hard case and locked away.

Well, Love Field "wishes" you would not carry, and even goes so far as to post those silly 30.05 signs that say they apply to CHLs as well, but you have to consider the source.
