I, of course, wrote to the DMN about the article, and took them and the author to task for the inaccurate "90,000 CHLs" statement. She, the author wrote back:

I don't know whether to feel insulted or what, no answer to the question of why 90,000 instead of 314,000, just "Thank you so much for your perspective."

I emailed her the DSP web site page with the correct satistics.

I had a letter published on Monday, about Sharpton, so I'll bet I don't get this one in.
