The CHL class will be 4 hours and the qualification is a cheap and easy form of range time in most cases. You will get a veterans discount from the state (I think). Military training and CHL training aren't the same and there is very little gun safety in the Texas CHL course. You should take the class and enjoy it...you might learn something new!!!
