Renewed in July 21 and received it on the Aug. 5 or 7, so it didn't take long.
On Sept. 1st the rates change. This made little if any difference for me so I just renewed before the expected rush in Sept.

Re: Revolver Trigger Lightening
Something I didn't see suggested was have her try it using both index fingers to pull the trigger. Remember that hard trigger pull is your safety on a wheel gun.
Hope this helps

Hand primer gave up today
I've had it for 20+ years and it's worked well (lee with the round tray). In looking at the new ones and their reviews becomes confusing, though I'm leaning towards the RCBS universal hand primer. I would like to here from people that have used them (any type). I'm looking at worth, ease of use and ...

Someone said the category had changed
They saud you can use a revolver to qualifie and still be able to Carrie a semi auto as well. I told them I did not think that had change but that I might have missed the change. So if someone can get me straighten out on this.
I did go to DPS page and could not find this answer.
Thanks

some help with my 9mm reloads
I just started loading some 9mm. So I picked up some extreme plated bullet 115 hp flipped to hp in my manual and loaded up a test batch. The manual listed an oal of 1.050, they did not work well, if I used the slide release they jammed (stovepipe) if I pulled the slide back and released the same but...

Re: Carter Country-Pasadena
I have gone in the Pasadena store a few time over the last years, and CC every time with no problems. they have always had the sign about all guns being unloaded and open,up on the door and when you walk in. I have always taken this as if you are going to handle a gun it's to be unloaded and open ju...

Re: Houston - HPD TO HOST MEETING ON NEW OPEN CARRY LAW
I thought that the HB 2739 allowed us to use it as ID when not related to a motor vehicle Thanks The meeting was not all that good, I was hoping for a better out line of checking licenses, with what he said they will not detain you while they run you for warrants. some how I see this happening and t...

Re: Houston - HPD TO HOST MEETING ON NEW OPEN CARRY LAW
I believe they said that when asked for ID you had to provide your DL and your CHL. I seem to remember the state making the CHL a from of ID in the last session. So if I'm not driving all they should need is the CHL or do I have this incorrect ?

Re: Low Profile Gas Block Necessary?
imo, I would spend more time cutting it down and finishing it again than changing it out. You can pick up a low profile for $20-$30, you'll spend more then that on the new rail.

Re: One in the pipe - do you do it?
Always have one in the chamber and safeties on. I will give a new gun quite a work out before I'll carry it and, if it doesn't work every time it's not staying for long.I'm sure not going to trust it with my life.

Re: Moral Delemma
I had to deal with something like this about a year ago, it is not easy. For the safety of all involved removal was the only answer. what do you think would happen if he had an encounter with the police? So removal is the only real answer. It is sad that it has come to that stage in life, but anyone...

Re: Suggestions for cement mixer media separation
You might try 2 or 3 screen boxes stacked on top of each other. When one fills you just pull it out and let them fall into the next.
