I'm sure he took a big pay cut and demotion just so he would be safe.

According to my nephew that graduated from Penn with honors, it's not in the best part of town. I don't think safety was the real motivator here. I think it has more to do with going back to the school from which he graduated, money and that it is a private ivy league school vs a state school.
