Re: Buffalo WW disregards 2A?
I won't believe it unless you can show me his autograph and a video with sound of him eating wings.

I do not think anyone is second guessing their view of guns. The discussion is whether they would post such a sign saying what the sign in the op says. That sign would not pass the franchise protocol and inspection.
Franchisees have to agree to certain standards and methods of operation including how they represent the Franchise and operate. This is very commonly known and understood. Putting such a sign as what is posted in the OP wouldn't pass any muster as no franchisor would allow such. Franchisors do regular inspections to make sure their franchisees are complying. That's all that means.
Like I said, I do not think anyone is confused about their position on guns and most understand the signs they actually post are not compliant with Texas law.

Re: Buffalo WW disregards 2A?
I suspect this is the sign you saw. I have seen this sign at every BWW I've been to.
If you actually saw the sign posted originally in this link, I'd be very very surprised as I can't imagine a company posting a sign on their business that comes out and says what the op suggests.

We've all done it. Don't feel bad.

A stiff drink and cold shower may be in order. It was a fake. It is obviously a photoshopped photo.hounddog wrote:I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you don't get to pick and choose which parts of the Constitution you honor and which ones you don't. There was a time when that place would be a pile of ashes smoking on the ground for statements like that. Those idiot liberals started yelling about enough is enough, well you're dadburn right it is, and we need to quit playing around with them. Sam Houston, Davy Crockett, Ronald Reagan, or John Wayne wouldn't have put up with their crap this long. That PC crap is way over due to be drop kicked out of here. Sorry but when I saw that sign, I wanted to knock fire from someone, and I'm not a violent person.

MANASSAS, VA (Manassas Patch) – Eight police officers were refused service at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday, apparently because they had their weapons displayed.
The Prince William County Police officers were on duty, but were in plain clothes, said Daryl LaClair, a Prince William County resident who wrote a letter to the restaurant chain’s headquarters and started a public awareness campaign regarding the incident.
The group walked into the Buffalo Wild Wings located near Wellington Road and Market Street, but were refused service by an employee who said they had to secure the guns before they would be served.
The officers had their badges displayed but still weren’t served.
Do you realize that was almost 3 years ago and the management went and apologized to the cops because of the error?
Here's the deal, if they do not put up a Texas compliant sign, why make a big deal of it and publicize it. Either go there and eat if you want to or don't. Bringing it up only feeds those on both sides of the issue that seek to make an issue of such situations.

Re: Buffalo WW disregards 2A?
I have seen non-compliant no gun signs at BWW. I am confident that one is fake.
Whoever photoshopped that was trying to make a statement. There's no need to create junk to take issue with in this day and time.
