I wish there was an actual answer to this question. But then again, you can't have everything. I actually expecting it to take awhile since I have my father's name, but it looks like they manged to figure out that I didn't commit crimes before my birth this time. Got my plastic in the mail today, and boy was I excited. My packet was received the Wednesday before last(7/20/11), and I've already got my card. I was hoping it would get here yesterday so I could be in the 2 week club, but 1 day more ain't bad. My status was changed to mailed on Saturday, but postmarked for this Tuesday(8/2/11). After searching through a few old threads and keeping track of postmark dates, I've got to say that the theory that things get mailed out once a week just isn't true. There were postmarks Monday-Friday. Anyway, I'm glad my wait is over, and am thankful that it went so fast. No more worrying about NICS for me.
