Re: PO'd Doesn't Begin to Describe It

I enjoyed reading and adding to the conversation. I saw your devil's advocate approach to be lively and could tell you were not making light of OP's wife's situation. Here we are talking about fundamental rights and when someone uses the right to express an opinion they are belittled, ganged up on ...

Re: PO'd Doesn't Begin to Describe It

We all know we are free to move from state to state unmolested. Once you choose a mode of transportation that YOU do not own you are subjecting yourself to the rules of that carrier. IE...no smoking. Foul language. No weapons. Your individual rights do not supersede mine. With that said if United, A...

Re: PO'd Doesn't Begin to Describe It

Can I assume that you never complain about the price of gas because you choose to drive a car instead of walk? Or that the tolways are owned by a private company and will never be paid off because you choose to drive on them? Or that you disagree with any government policy, tax, law, or otherwie be...

Re: PO'd Doesn't Begin to Describe It

Ive been witness to this in my MANY flights to and fro the last few years. And one thing I do notice is that "we"(general public) are taking our frustration out on the wrong people. TSA screeners really are "Just doing their job". They dont make policies or rules. Take the job, ...

Re: PO'd Doesn't Begin to Describe It

In turn this guy or gal who has been getting dirty looks and griped at all shift AND has the powers that be over their shoulders finally has had enough so being polite gets pushed to the side. In many other industries, that's known as a bad employee, and are reprimanded. Plus we all know the real t...

Re: Where were you when the towers fell?

I was sitting in the III Corp building at Ft hood filling out a questionare to renew my securety clearance. It was in the back office on the second floor. It was really quiet back there and I remember I had no cell service back there either. When I got done and came out towards the front my phone we...

Re: Parking lot, parking lot what ya gonna do

Im curious how this works. Let's just say you DO bring your gun in your vehicle, how will they ever know? Can they search your vehicle parked in an unsecured non fenced lot looking for a gun just for the hell of it?

Re: What was the most unusual car you or your father owned

This was my very first car. A 1977 Ford Taunus. Yep TAUNUS. I was 18, in Germany and didnt know squat about cars growing up in NYC. I bought it in 1988 from a soldier in my unit that was coming back to the states for $700. I took 2 mini stereo speakers and put em in the back window for my sounds Lol...

Re: Concealed with a tucked-in shirt

If you dont have 4 to 6 weeks to wait on a crossbreed or want a sub until it arrives.I HIGHLY recommend the Parker IWB. Its similar to the CB but only cost 40 bucks. I swear by it. I carry the XD .40 and I wear mostly paper thin T-shirts(Quiksilver/Express) and my Iphone in my pocket shows more than...

Great CHL discussion with a Tx State Trooper last night

We both were watching the first NFL pre season game between Denver and Dallas. And we began with small talk about NFL stuff. I was carrying and a little nervous but my curiosity got the best of me so I broached the CHL subject. I asked him how do the LEOs feel about CHLers(understanding he doesnt sp...
