Here's a concept: Don't go there!! Let the manager know your thoughts, write the corporation a letter and be done with it. Their food stinks anyway. I mean, it’s a kid’s joint that serves beer. What kind of moron thought that was a good idea???? (It's probably been 15 years since I've been in one. They served beer back then. I don't know about now. I remember the pizza was terrible.)
You got that right!! I do not intend to go to any of their establishments. The sign is probably not legal because I do not think the letters are 1 inch. I really do not know if they serve beer
and the pizza is not good enough for the money they want. With a coupon 1 large pepperoni pizza and three cokes cost $20 and without the coupon it is about $31. Ridiculous prices!!

My grand kids ate half the pizza and the rest went home in a box and will probably get tossed. My grand kids, 5 yo and 6 yo, are high class they do not eat leftovers.
I try to lay off pizza so it makes it one expensive time.

I will do everything I can to slam a business that tries to hassle a CHL for defending innocent people because their sorry lawyers don't know the law. The law is written to protect US as well as the rights of the property owner. We obey it and they have to also.
I agree with you but the sign I saw looks legal. If I disregarded the sign I would not be obeying the law. I guess I have to go back, take a picture of the sign, measure the letters
etc then decide. If I am going to pick a fight then i want to first make sure I can win.

Re: Chuck-E-Cheese

Personally I do not think it is wise to challenge the sign in a kid's place while you have the kids there.

For me the best thing is to just not frequent the place. I will take them to McDonald's they have a playground.
Besides it is cheaper!!

I do not think McDonald's is posted yet. The way to challenge those "chain establishments" is to do it "en mass."
I still do not think it will do any good but maybe the threat of losing business might work.

Russell wrote:Chuck E. Cheese's is a top offender for 30.06 signs. See the "Wall of Shame" at the top of texas3006.com.
The one I went to was in Selma, Texas. The sign was kind of small and I did not have time to really scrutinize it. I had
my grand kids so I just left the gun in the car.

The Wall of Shame say there are 12 locations do not know if Selma was one of them but since I saw the sign I thought it
best to just comply.

The sign looked legal but even so I really would not like to challenge the sign when my grand kids are with me for a good time.

Chuck-E-Cheese

I took my grand kids to Chuck-E-Cheese this morning and was kind of surprised they had a 30.06 sign
on the front door. I had to leave my gun in the truck.

Are a lot of kid places posted? I never gave it a thought until today.
