You should see what all AZ and NV blame on him! OR and UT, too!

It's a loophole! Please give it the dignitude it merits.Pawpaw wrote:He was talking about how modifying a rifle by the addition of a "bullet button" would turn it into a legal fully automatic rifle, which is of course, hogwash. A "bullet button" is a California (only?) item that replaces the AR-15 magazine release button. With a bullet button installed, you have to use the point of a bullet, or some other tool, to remove the magazine. It's a way to get around their crazy laws.Feed&Guns wrote:Pawpaw wrote:Really. He didn't even mention the shoulder thing that goes up!
Gotta watch those deadly bullet buttons.
Well, it wasn't as bad as I expected. Not sure what the "auto button" thing is he was talking about. I've been looking all morning for mine and can't find it. Of course, guys spend years looking for the elusive "fun button" on women and sometimes can't ever find it either.
I'm sure other people than myself are also tired of hearing about how Sean Hannity is a "Marksman". Well, last night he and the NYPD detective "Bo" were on and BOTH were talking about changing "clips" in their guns. Made my skin crawl.
But as for news guys, this wasn't so bad. I remember reading in the paper in 1990 about the reporting seeing the F-18 take off with its "thruster-boosters". At least this guy kind of tried to point out that it isn't an assault rifle in its native state!! Kudos to him for that!
Finally, if these thugs would watch a few gun videos on YouTube they'd really crap themselves. Watch the video where Jerry keeps up with a guy with a slide fire stock. I think they clocked in around 450 rpm. Who needs full auto when you can legally get a Geissele 3-gun trigger or slide fire stock? Ohhhh what the liberals don't know!
All of California is essentially a gun free zone, outside ones home or place of business, or a gun range.philip964 wrote:First time I have heard this, I figure a gun shop owner in California near the site of the tragedy would know
"The biggest problem is that it was a gun-free zone," said Get Loaded owner Terry McGuire, 49, a bald, burly guy who looks as though he would be right at home among the many cops and deputies to whom he caters. "You aren't allowed to carry guns into county buildings."
I know we all new in our hearts it was a "gun free zone"
I believe this was from a piece in the LA times which is kind of remarkable.
