I agree with Ronnie Barrett. Get it to the point that the government can not purchase or service their weapons, so they have to use slingshots like Tijuana issued to their police some years ago.

To the point of this microstamping, it is idiotic in the extreme. All you have to do to ruin a crime scene is drop rounds of similar caliber you picked up at the local range, fired by half a dozen or more guns, an evidentiary pig's breakfast.
