This poll is a pretty good indication of the bias infecting the Houston Business Journal http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/puls ... y/17639482
Which business sector will feel the most impact from 'open carry'?
Retail, shoppers won't feel secure while shopping
Professional Services, office workers will feel uneasy around gun-toting co-workers
Industrial, workers won't feel safe as products are being made
Logistics and Transportation, firearms have no place around the distribution of goods
Not sure/other (please comment)

Another bunch of liberal anti-gun, guns are scary, dishonest media goons. Not that that's a surprise. They must hate how the OC poll has trended.

Any online poll is garbage... it is not a random sampling. It is trending the way is is because it has been posted on gun forums and results are being skewed.

The anti-gun crowd doesn't care about the truth of anything and would promote the poll if it was in their favor, and if it stays the way it is now, they can't promote it, so that is probably aggravating the progs at this rag. Also, the OC poll questions I posted are so biased they completely invalidate the poll even if it polled a legitimate sample --so the poll itself is dishonest on its face....not that ethics have ever been associated with the media or anti-gun crowd.

You're absolutely right that the poll has no scientific validity because it only represents voters that read the that online journal and have a preference for answering an online poll. As for open carrying, I will continue to keep my firearm concealed. I don't want or need the extra attention from strangers and I have no desire to become any kind of target from criminals. On the other hand, I understand Whataburger's position. They are trying to create an inclusive atmosphere to serve their customers that are on both sides of the gun debate. So long as they don't put up a 30.06 sign, I'm ok with just concealed carry.
