If I'm correct in reading the bill - it states Sept 1 2015 (Section 9)
04/01/2013 - Online application
06/22/2013 - Plastic in hand
75 days - mailbox to mailbox
03/17 - renewal - 42 days plastic in hand

For once I agree with Sen. West. I will be praying.

It looks like SB 11 has passed all committees and is on to the governor's desk for signature. Same as HB910

The conference report needs to be voted on today by both full House and full Senate. (That diagram is a little incomplete).

From the House Calendar of Items Eligible for Consideration:
ELIGIBLE AT 12:40 AM MAY 31, 2015:
SB 11 Birdwell / et al.
SP: Fletcher
Relating to the carrying of handguns on the campuses of and certain other locations associated with institutions of higher education; providing a criminal penalty.
I don't find it listed in the Senate calendar available for today (yet), and there is no Senate calendar up for tomorrow (yet).

On small screened mobile device. What is status of 3 amendments House added to SB11?

Applies to both public and private colleges?
Carve out for entire TMC Texas Medical Center?
Start date of Sept 1, 2016?

Absolutely this. Are we even going to get a chance? It's now or never.

Should we be taking up a collection to send Ex-lax and Starbucks to Sen. Ellis' office?
