No, I'm saying that the police said that pocket knives are included in the total. So flip your argument, 200 people = 1000 firearms? Even less likely.
I never said firearms. I said it might as well be a gun show because over a thousand weapons were confiscated. Gun shows often have as many knives as they do firearms.
And my point was, they keep making claims about the huge number they've collected, and that number is inflated because they are counting anything as a weapon. Including pocket knives. The "real" number of actual weapons is much smaller.
So? There are still 9 dead men. What does it matter how many weapons?
Because an inflated number spins the narrative in another direction. The higher the number the more dangerous these guys were. I mean, good grief, they found one of those uber deadly AK 40 something full auto machine gun thingies. Justifies the bond amount and cements public opinion.

Claiming to be part of a criminal organization, 9 dead men and 18 others that were attempted to be killed just might be all the justification they need to set the bond at that level for now.

Several seem to be worried about the Constitutional rights of those good fellas that got licked up. What about the rights of lufe, liberty and the pursuit of happiness of the 9 good dead men and those 18 good citizens that were injured?

Those good citizens, as you say, were all patched members just like the 170. Are they to be arrested and charged upon release from the hospital?

Sorry you missed the obvious sarcasm. They are all criminal thugs and should be treated as such.

Ok. So, guilt by association is good enough for you, to label every single one of those men as criminal thugs, and to heck with the constitution. Got it.

Don't go screaming for help when the government decides that owning a firearm makes you a criminal thug and should be treated as such. Just sayin.

See my post responding to RB. I never claim to be a part of an outlaw organization or wear clothes proclaiming that I am a criminal.

No need to rehash all the same arguments that have already been covered just because you are late to the party.

By your lack of rebuttal, I will assume that you agree with my assessment in the first paragraph.

I never thought I'd find that mentality on a gun board.

I'll bow out of this thread now so as to not be perceived as picking a fight. FWIW, I mean no disrespect, you're as entitled to your opinions as I am mine. God bless and good night.

If you will read what I pointed you to, you'll see I rebutted your offbase comments well before you posted them. I'm not going to rehash the same crap with you. My opinion has changed. Try to catch up with the conversation before going away in a tizzy.

No tizzy, trying to find it.
Was leaving because I don't want to be accused of picking a fight.

I've read the whole thing at least twice, trying to figure out where the shift happened.

As far as your mentality on this board comment, I never thought I'd see such sympathy for self proclaimed criminals that decide to shoot it out in the parking lot of a busy shopping center.

My only "sympathy" is in regards to the "take 'em all to jail with a million dollar bond, so we can sort it all out later" mentality that happened.
If merely wearing a patch is enough to suspend ones rights, what's the next symbol going to be?
It doesn't matter that there are known criminal elements in those clubs. Every single one of those men have rights, and those rights have been abused.

Sorry you can't grasp it's more than just wearing a patch.

Since you missed my edit I'll repost.
I mean come on, if association is all it takes, why not round up every bandido in the state? Cossacks too. Don't forget the HAngels. Or any other criminal group. They are associated with them so why not cure crime once and for all?

Out of all the reports (not police reports) and pictures I have seen I have yet to see a gun or even gun cases close to one of the people that were killed. Most seemed to actually be on their bike riding away or starting to ride away. Reports also show that cameras inside dont actually catch the shooting but it can be heard when it starts and within 2 mins from when it started FBI and ATF with assault rifles are seen entering Twin Peaks on camera, I understand they were suppose to be around there already in hiding waiting but really less than 2 mins? Now don't get me wrong I'm not anti cop (have close friends and family that are HPD), nor am I anti biker as mentioned I have known many as far back as from a really young kid as we rented a place to the head of Texas Chapter back in late 60's to early 80's. Just what has come out and all just seems odd somewhat. Also noticed the one mod mention lawsuits, I myself would consider suing Waco PD and maybe FBI and ATF if possible. They say they knew and had word something was gonna happen, why not show up in force to start with? Have plenty of officers in uniform on site or even marked cars whatever to keep it from happening, not waiting till it happens risking citizens lives. Honestly we will probably never know exactly what happened as I don't trust FBI or ATF as they done been shown in past not to be honest, but I shouldn't really say that cause I'm not really one to cast an entire group of people just cause of some bad apples.

edited: Also seen a report that stated the weapon count which is suppose to be 118 handguns, 1 AK47. Don't remember the knife and pipe / chain count. But the report also stated that many of the handguns and the AK47 were found in vehicles in the parking lot.

According to a story released by WFAA, Twin Peaks will no longer host bike nights at any of its 76 locations nationwide.
