Mine was working just fine for the first 15 minutes. Now it's reloading about every 2 seconds.

This session is nearing an end but if you want to be able to answer many questions on bill language, status etc. for yourself, then: http://www.legis.state.tx.us/Home.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is a must resource. You can create bill lists to make it easy to come in and "run" your list to see updates. Actual bill text is posted for every bill and you can see house, senate and committee calendars.

We must reject the idea that every time a law’s broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions. ~ Ronald Reagan ~

Hopefully we won't have to go through all of the same testimony that's already been done when the Senate version went through the first time but I think that's wishful thinking. Hopefully we won't have to have all the amendment attempts and lots of speeches.

Well they are not following the schedule of bills to be heard. They are jumping all over the schedule and aren't following the order in which they are listed. :totap: In the past State Affairs has. There are 19 bills under consideration in today's meeting.

I sure hope they get to HB 910.

I see some of those in attendance with MDA shirts on. Probably safe to say we'll hear similar testimony.

That is unless they are there for some other bill to be discussed in committee (I will admit that I do not know what they're agenda entails beyond the obvious).

Saving the best for last. Maybe they think it will take longer than the others.

I'm thinking we are going to hear public comments only, no action otherwise.

Well they have 31 minutes to get to it, as the full Senate will convene at 11:00 in the Senate chambers where they are having their meeting.

If they don't it will be after adjournment of the full Senate meeting.
