Did my online renewal April 14th. Had the ststus change (address change etc.) this morning, April 29th.
I called and was told my license had been approved for renewal on Friday April 24th. They said i should
have my new plastic in 7-10 days. These are excelent turn around times kudos to DPS.

14 April - online renewal
24 April - approved for renewal
29 April - update (address change etc.)
New plastic in hand soon!!!

New plastic in hand May 2nd.
19 calendar day turn around
Good until 2020!!!!!!

Anyone from April have an update? Monday May 11th I hit the 30th day of waiting. It's starting to get to me(checking the website multiple times a day.) does anyone know what time it of day DPS updates the website?

Look at the post how long should it take some guys have already gotten there plastic that applied around the same time we did. The have been calling 2 times a week though.

It took 30 days for me, and that was a renewal in which I didn't have to send in any paperwork. I would give them at least that long and then call just to make sure there aren't any issues.

My holster shipped today but still no update to my CHL.

Just got off the phone with RSD. CHL has been approved, now I'm waiting on the mail man.

The website still dose not show change of address report lost card and so on but I recieved my chl today

Congrats on the plastic! On a side note my wife also called today about her CHL and was told none of here documents were attached although they see them all. She got a call from a supervisor a few hours ago and was told everything is now where it needs to be in the system and it is going to printing.

Kkpsiknl we summited all our docs the same day and when I called them today they told me my chl was in the process of being mailed. Hopefully yours will show up tomorrow or Monday.

The mail seems to run a day or two behind here in Hutto. If it's not in by Friday I'll call again.
