Some of those guys are confused about how to check that status. It's not exactly bold text when you sign in saying "You've Been Approved, License in the Mail" and some folks are missing it on the page.

Just checked mine right now and nope, still shows

"CHL APPLICATION STATUS: If you have a pending CHL application, please allow sufficient time for processing. If you have not already done so, please submit all of the items listed on the checklist you received. DPS will notify you by mail if further information or additional documents are required"

It's been two months to the date now, and still waiting... :waiting:

I have been watching this site for a while and had to officially join. It has not been long, but seems like forever already. A lot of good information has been shared. My status is:

April 5: Applied Online
April 8: Chl Completed
April 8: Fingerprint Completed
April 9: Submitted CHL-100 and documents by email
April 9: Received confirmation email

Only 2 weeks, but still anxious to get this plastic :txflag:

question my online status still reads
CHL APPLICATION STATUS: If you have a pending CHL application, please allow sufficient time for processing. If you have not already done so, please submit all of the items listed on the checklist you received. DPS will notify you by mail if further information or additional documents are required.

but then this was added to the bottom right

Change Information
Change residential address
Change mailing address
Change contact information
Report lost license
Report stolen license

does that mean I have been approved or will it read approved under status

My status changed also. I called dps, and they confirmed that my application was approved, and the license is in the mail.

Well, it has been about 7 weeks. I had to have records from a low level "brain freeze" arrest from the mid 80's looked up and documented. That threw a hitch in the process. My CHL is now on the way so they say. I should have had it sent to the attention of Blue. That is what color I will be from holding my breath. :totap:

BINGO. 51 days start to finish. Only bought 1 cc gun, 2 holsters for the new cc gun, one holster for an existing reasonably cc cabable gun. I actually feel like a better citizen. Is this a temporary phenomenon?
