Nope, .45ACP, not 10mm. With Texas finally getting some new laws in 2016, I thought carrying a semi-full size Sig was the next logical move.

My friends, I present you with my brand new Sig P220 Compact SAS, with a shout out to Shooters Vault in Phoenix for a smooth transaction.

Of course, I immediately took it out for a walk and a feeding.

In the meantime, you should take that XD and feed it all sorts of delicious HP options as well as target ammo. To break her in, of course. Make sure she's 100% reliable before you carry. Cheers! :cheers2:

At first I carried a RIA 1911 compact. Then I tried carrying my Magnum Research DE1911C. It's a commander sized 1911. While it is just a tad longer, it is a tiny bit more narrow and a tad lighter than the RIA compact. It is actually a bit more comfortable than the RIA compact.

Nice looking gun Countryside! Of course, ANY 1911 is a good looking gun, I think. ;-) And welcome to the forum! Glad to have you with us! :tiphat:

Thanks. Yeah, I'm sorta partial to 1911s. Glad to be here.

I looked through a lot of this thread of supposed "daily carry". These are first that looks like they really are. The rest look like "never carries" and most look like never shot. Oh maybe that's the pic you snapped when you first got the rig and you just reposted but how hard is it to snap a current pic of your daily carry... if you have one.
Just saying this is one of the few pictures that looks like it belongs in this thread.
