A collection only has to be valuable to the one doing the collecting. However, I know what you mean. I have Glocks.

I WISH THEY WERE AS NICE AS GLOCKS!!!! :cryin

The way that I first looked at it when I got back from Germany for 12 years was I needed tools on a budget. I don't buy the prettiest hammer, I buy the one I can afford. With that being said, I am starting to upgrade! (NOT TO GLOCKS)

Ok, since I have gotten my CHL I have decided to open carry on my property and in the house. I find that without it now I feel naked. The wife has gotten. Used to it and no longer even notices. She finds herself when things are going on that don't seem right she now throws me a look, and I nod. It's funny how your life changes when you are able yo carry...

I even found ways yo nap in my holster. I have ordered a holster from Hopp and I am hopping that is will be even more comfortable.

I open carry in my house and on my property. Concealed carry everywhere else that it's legal.

With open carry passing out of the Texas senate, I'd like y'all's input on open carry on the private property of others. I usually avoid pointless speculation, but I am wondering if it might be helpful to start a dialog now with the friends, neighbors, and realtives I expect to visit next year.

Those who visit my house already know I open carry there. I'm interested in your thoughts on open carry when I go a-callin'.

Thanks.

Well, when I first got my CHL, I told my immediate family and if they had any issues with me carrying in their house and around my nephews and nieces they needed to let me know. No one did. I also did the same with a couple close friends because they also had kids. I wanted to deal with this up front rather than after one of the kids discovering it and asking, "What's that?" No one had any issues and neither have any of the kids.

My parents live in an OC state and I have OCed in their house and on their property for years. And even around town for a few days on one visit. I didn't tell them I was going to do that and neither was with me when I did it. My mom couldn't believe no one noticed or that I wasn't visited by the police. If OC becomes law here, those might be the only places I do OC. To and from my vehicle when I'm going to visit one of them and in their house, but I will discuss it with them first. Most of the kids are grown and out of the houses, but there are still a couple left.
