12/27 - CHL Class
01/07 - Submitted Application (1st app expired month prior)
01/07 - Submitted documentation w/ email confirmation
01/20 - Received letter (dated 01/13) stating no fingerprints received
01/22 - Fingerprints
02/01 - "Please allow sufficient time for processing..."

It amazes me that when I did CHL fingerprints back in March 2014, that they couldn't have just used those prints... or when I renewed my license with the DMV they took my prints but couldn't use those... yet they can use my DMV picture?!

02/04 - Called DPS - was informed they are still doing background check
02/07 - Status change on website! Can now update my address, report lost license, etc.!!

02/13/15 - Email from DPS acknowledging they recieved my supporting paper work.


Still waiting, as status till hasn't changed. Hopeing it will before I get done with this job. I'm out of country right now so if they sent any mail asking for more info (no arrest or issues should come up) than I won't get it until I get back.

Plastic was in the mail today!!! Mailing date indicates it shipped on the 10th so it only took 2 days to arrive

Fingerprints taken = 02/14 (had an issue where the fingerprinting system didn't get confirmation for a while)
Required documents uploaded = 02/16
Card Received on 3/9

Got a confirmation for the chl-100 received, am I suppose to get one for the application as well?
