What I wanted someone to ask Acevedo is "so, you are for CHL holders and yet against campus carry. Tell me, what would happen between the time he was getting a burger at Spanky's and walking across the street to the Texas Tech campus that would make a CHL holder such a menace?" (insert appropriate Austin landmark by UT if needed)

Three cheers for the president of the Texas Sheriff's Association. I called his office and offered my thanks for clearly communicating what anyone ought to know - a law abiding citizen is not a problem. A law abiding citizen with a gun is not a problem.
