Has Alice Tripp had a shot yet?

She was an earlier invited guest. These are (were) uninvited speakers...they took a break from that when the invited chancellors showed up.RHenriksen wrote:Has Alice Tripp had a shot yet?

Charles said he wasn't going to offer testimony as they all know what he would say, therefore it would be a waste of time...lol. He's prolly right.Salty1 wrote:When is somebody on the "for" side who can speak intelligently going to be called up? Seems that those opposed to the Bills are in the majority. Sure hope Charles is there and in que....

Sounds like Campus Carry is a done deal, at least in the Senate. The chancellors are (very reasonably) asking for consideration for extenuating circumstances such as situations that might run afoul of Federally funded programs, etc.
I don't buy making daycare off limits, but the "asks" seem at least reasonable so far.

I can't believe Birdwell, Estes, or any of the other "pro" Senators haven't asked about daycare problems to date...shooting that one right out of the water and making it a non-issue.RoyGBiv wrote:Sounds like Campus Carry is a done deal, at least in the Senate. Did I hear correctly that my Arlington police chief endorsed the open carry bill? I had to step out of the room and missed it.

He was neither for nor against, just wanted some concessions added.joe817 wrote:Did I hear correctly that my Arlington police chief endorsed the open carry bill? I had to step out of the room and missed it.

It sounded like he wasn't opposed to licensed to open carry at least he didn't make a good case against it.joe817 wrote:Did I hear correctly that my Arlington police chief endorsed the open carry bill? I had to step out of the room and missed it.

Haha, Cory Watkins is sitting next to a MDA chick.
I can't imagine what's going through his head.
